The Matron and I

Look, I know I said cats are a burden. And I am fully aware that I am blogging about cats. I am sorry.
But!
She’s a hella smart cat. She has already adapted to my habits.
For the past 3 or 4 nights I have spent my nights on the 2-seater couch in the lounge room, typing away at my laptop. She’s now learnt that she can crawl uninvited on to my lap and I am a big enough sap to just let her lie there.
And when I get sick of having to carry a cat and being unable to type? I stand up, she crawls into the warm spot and I sit on the other side of the couch. It’s a fabulous arrangement for her and a so-so arrangement for me.
Either way, it’s cool to see that this old cat can still adapt to new surroundings and, more importantly, it can adapt new surroundings to her.
Sarcasm:
Pfft who needs human friends when cats are just as cool.

So you move out of the cats way? The saying is true, cats don’t have owners, they have servants.
i hate cats, there, i said it, its out there now and it cant be taken back
Andrew that’s evil. Cats rule. And Amber’s such an awesome cat.
well if hating cats is evil, then evil me up. thoug i will admit that amber is on the less horrible end of the cat scale
Nothing wrong with hating cats. A good dose of cat hating keeps you healthy and happy. Ask Stephen Lynch.
Stephen Lynch?? I knew a guy call that in primary school.
Amber is sooo cute!!! I love her to bits! many tiny bits.
