Daily scribbling
Today I walked into Borders and paid A$22.00 for a notepad. I know; dumb.
I think I have a latent stationary fetish
It’s a squared reporter notebook Moleskine and, gun to my head, the only reason I bought it was to let off some steam about the annoying to-and-fro that I’ve been getting from the guys that are meant to be fixing my laptop’s power cable. It’s taken them two weeks (and 4 visits) to replace a simple cable and even when I got it back, it was missing the part that plugs into the socket. Yeesh.
Anyway, I am telling you about this overpriced notepad because unlike my previous Moleskine purchases, I am going to use this one. I am going to try my best to fill it with abstract stick figures and maybe even draw some characters with flesh on them.
This is xkcd’s fault
There are 240 pages, so I genuinely hope I can fill at least half of these with scribblings. Why? Because I need to tap into my creative side and forcing myself to blog just isn’t working. So I’m going to force myself to go analogue and draw some stick figures.
Expect me to link to these idiocies soon.
P.S. Some people think I have nice handwriting.
