I think that right now, at this very moment, I am getting a tinge of holiday blues.
I am sitting around bored on the couch with my laptop. Everything is very comfortable.
That thing you do
There are no Scrabble tiles to play with. No Adeline around so that I can make light of her vertical retardation. No Lachlan around to take for granted. No Bob around to ignore all his awful jokes and chalk them up to pent-up sexual frustration. No Geraldine to distract from her reading of The Time Traveller’s Wife. No Marlene to feign concern at the mountainous landscape that has taken residence on her face. No Hui-Ai to trick into washing the dishes.
In short, there is noone readily available to exploit for my own amusement.
On the plus side, there are no mosquitoes in this house.
