Holy shits

In case you are wondering.

Everyday, at some point, I will look around and think one of the following:

  • Holy shit, I’m working for a mega corporation.
  • Holy shit, I’m living in Seattle.
  • Holy shit, this is the United States of America.

So uh, please feel free to pause in your day. Pause and think:

  • Holy shit, Jack’s in Seattle.
  • Holy shit, it’s so hot and Jack is in 10 degree weather.
  • Holy shit, Jack gets to watch all the TV shows before I do.

Rest assured, I am missing Melbourne and all the Melbourne people terribly. I am keeping all of you in my thoughts (except the people who were too selfish to attend my going-away) and I will try to send some postcards soon.

Address mine to “Magnificent Mike” or something along that regards. I get everyone to do it, just makes me feel special.

aaaaah………..I’m sure your not missing Steve Bracks?

(BTW Triple J are going to be recording Damien Rice live so keep an eye out for when they’ll be broadcasting that so you can stream it over the net or something.)

    Holy shit, Jack’s in Seattle.

I remember having almost the exact reverse of your experience (moving to Sydney) and then having a variation of both when I came back to the US (San Francisco) after living in Sydney. It gets less bizarre. I promise.
