What more is there to say?

So what’s buzzing around my mind at the moment? I will tell you! In sentence fragments!

Girls

…and the inconceivable lack thereof. That’s not a “oh my god I need to get laid” complaint. I merely prefer the company of women because in the correct settings, I get to make sexist jokes and do all sorts of passive-aggressive things that only women can appreciate. Men are firm believers of actions speaking louder than words and I’m not a very active person, I’m afraid.

Laptop

I have a new laptop. It is like the old one except thinner, lighter, brighter and faster. I am happy with it but it just feels like a new haircut; it’s great but my life isn’t going to change.

Bills

They’re due every month. What a pain in the ass. My electricity bill is like… $6.00. Thank god I don’t have to cut them a check and I can just pay online. I am paying too much for my phone. I am thinking of canceling my $30/month cable TV subscription. I have no idea how I spend so much on water. Rent is killing me.

Top Chef

This TV show is good. Really tasty. I think the conflict resolution and the punishment of bitchy, over-competitive people is also good watching. Food photography is brilliant too. The only thing that detracts is the obvious dubbing they do at the judge’s table sometimes.

Japan

I really really want a break. And be with friends. I jokingly said to someone, “Yeah sure, pick on the lonely Australian guy who is stuck in a foreign country with no friends.” There was a hint of painful truth to that. I am looking forward to speaking some Japanese. I want a native to be impressed by my pronunciation. I also want hot Japanese twins (read: just two unrelated girls that are dressed alike) waiting in my hotel room with a bottle of champagne. That is part of the package deal. I paid a bit extra.

Sentence Fragments

I really like sentence fragments because that’s how my own thoughts fly about. Short snippets of idiocy.

I love Top Chef, but I still can’t decide who to root for. I kind of like Tre, but not in a “OMIGOD, Tre MUST win or I will totally POUT” kind of way.

Also, SIX DOLLARS? For an electricity bill? Are you serious?! Mine was $200 this past month, because I like to live in an icebox.

Jack

Aha! Well my apartment is always too warm, I have the windows open all the time (which means: no naked walking around). I also like to sit around in the dark at night because 1) people don’t look into my apartment and 2) I get a much more interesting view out my window.

Yeah I’m still not sure what to make of Season 3. Tre’s got some good points but I’m waiting to fall in love with someone. (PS. Still working my way through Season 2, no spoilers!)
