I have to say, that religion thing looks way too inaccurate/simplistic to even my limited knowledge of history; for one, the part I know best, the “end” picture has much of northern India as Muslim when this is clearly not the case - the muslim population there doesn’t top 20%.

Also, the DJIA is a broad basket of random stocks i.e. a load of crap, ignored by all the guys who know stuff. the S&P500 is far more likely to reflect “reality”.
