One month. Then I’m off to Japan for two and a bit weeks. I was so obsessed with planning my surprise trip back to Australia that I totally forgot.
Here’s the outline:
- Nov 09: Fly United Airlines from SEA to SFO, then United again to KIX (in Osaka)
- Nov 26: Fly US Airways from KIX to SFO, then US again to SEA
I have not prepared, my Japanese sucks and I’m scared to trust an American airline to carry me over an ocean.
Well, I guess I spoke some Japanese to the two Japanese girls that I went to karaoke with (and no David, they weren’t named Fook Me and Fook Yu, you racist). But I said phrases like, “I am Chinese” and umm… “Where’s the toilet?” and it wasn’t an actual conversation.
I am crossing my fingers that we’ve at least booked accommodation for the first night and have a vague itinerary. I really am leaving it up to everyone else because I hate having to think when I’m on vacation. JUST FEED ME DELICIOUS SUSHI AND LET ME SLEEP IT OFF.
