  • Heading East: Late Last Night…
*sigh* All these stories make New York sound so romantic.

  • Edmonton Swastikas 1916
A hockey team from 1916. It was really confronting to see this image until my jetlagged brain figured out that the 1930’s happened AFTER the 1910’s.

  • ver.st - anti-piracy information
Very cool little tumbleblog with lots of good links. This is a quote that makes a very good point: if we could pirate cars, everyone would be doing it.

  • YouTube - Sushi: Japanese Tradition
This is uncomfortably funny because I’m not sure which parts are correct and which parts are satire.

Swastika != Nazi. For one, the Nazi one is reversed and tilted 45 degrees.

I say that mainly because I see swastikas all over India - it’s a fairly common religious symbol used at the entrance of places. The image might be corrupted in the west, but I hold the view that it’s been taken a little far.

Yes I’m well aware that the Swastika did not start with the Nazi’s. But here’s a bunch of very posh-looking white people who wear it proudly as their emblem.

This site was hacked together with TextMate and Adobe Fireworks. I can't even remember how many re-designs I've been through and I never bothered to keep screenshots. It's kind of nice just to leave things in the past instead of archiving it forever in a permanent digital space. Keepsakes are overrated. Powered by Wordpress; hosted by Dreamhost.
