Japan Photos are Up

Here are Jack’s vacation photos. There are a lot of them.

So, I have finished uploading all the photos that I took in Japan. After trimming all the blurry photos, I have about 450 photos left. Yes, that’s still a lot but it was a two-week trip so you’ll have to cut me some slack.

Funny anecdote from last night. I’m returning to the bar after going to the bathroom. A girl sitting at a table shoots me a glance and I reply in kind. I don’t really draw any conclusions about her, I am just in the habit of making eye contact with strangers now and again.

And then I walk straight into her table, banging my leg rather hard and startling her and her drinking buddy. Thank you, alcohol.

If this was a teen movie, I would have hung around and made awkward, stammered conversation and maybe some sort of social faux pas like spilling her drink or accidentally calling her ugly. Instead, I just apologized and kept walking towards the bar.

My stories rock. :D

How was the weather? Looks particularly freezing in Nikko…

The weather was cold and except for the handful of days that we had sun. Nikko was up in the mountains so it was noticeably colder there.

…and then she followed me home, one thing led to another and she left the next morning.

And that’s how you end a story like that :-)

“Then she followed me home…” – you make her sound like a lost puppy or something.

Of course, if a girl wrote “then he followed me home…”, I would think it sounds like a stalker.

Double (triple?) standards! Woohoo!
