Probably Not Lupus

Well, it’s finally happened; I’m sick.
It’s freakish but since university, I’ve hardly gotten sick. Despite no exercise and a horrible diet, I stay un-diseased for long stretches. I don’t know how I manage it, I catch the bus for crying out loud; it’s full of sickies.
Now that I’m balled up in a cold sweat, my mind wanders back to all the moments in the past month when I have boasted to people how I never get sick anymore. I think back to the late nights spent not sleeping and also the 4 beers I downed just yesterday.
To be honest, my symptoms are still extremely light. Still, it’s not a pretty picture because I’m being utterly melodramatic about how much suffering I am in. Also, I’m still eating like crap. I bought lunch from the food court downstairs. I need to nut up and actually nurse this illness. I heard this NyQuil stuff is magic (we do not have NyQuil in Australia, we just get the local medicine man to make us a potion of blood from a tiger snake and burnt strips of bark, then we wash it down with beer).
How did I miss the fact that you’re in Australia?!

YES. I have an accent but every person I meet seems to hear something different. Those that have met other Australians think I don’t have much of an accent at all. Those that didn’t speak English as a first language can’t really notice it. And everybody else thinks I’m British.
Of the seven deadly sins: I have really only inspired envy from other guys that wish they had a sweet accent, I have not inspired much lust. :D
hey nyquil is like 40% alcohol and a bunch of corn syrup. so if you can’t get nyquil, just take a few shots of whiskey!
Nyquil is genius!! The only way I get through an illness is by Dayquil, Nyquil, rinse and repeat.
Wow, I popped two Nyquil last night and I was out like a light. So good to have a full night’s sleep. I will need to buy some Dayquil tonight. Thanks guys.
