New Design has Landed

My new blog design is here. I don’t have access to a PC at the moment so I am still trying to fix any errors in Internet Explorer 7+ or Chrome.

Note to IE6 users: you’re on your own. You’ve abandoned good taste and the security of your computer to use that ancient browser and I’m abandoning you in the interests of my playtime. Later days. Get Firefox or Chrome and you’ll be happier. If you are on some sort of locked down computer where you can’t install things, there’s always Firefox Portable.

7am Update

Ok I added a few tweaks for Internet Explorer and things look kinda ok? I’m seeing issues where the page is all fucked up in IE and then you hit reload and it displays as it should. Weird?

(only incongruent thing I find is that the header looks a bit too blogger-esque in the colour. But not that that gets in the way of the brilliant broader design statement.)

This is one of your best efforts :) I like how it makes good use of all the space. Looks nice at 1680×1050

@Lachlan Awesome! I cried when I saw my old design on your high-res widescreen monitor. I looked so ridiculous.

viewing on mozilla, have to agree with Karan, does have a bit of a blogger feel to it. Definitly enjoy the larger fonts :-)

i’m going to be very in the minority when i say this, but i actually prefer your old design – i like being able to read a post as soon as i open up the blog and i guess i am a stickler for the good ol’ black and white colours…
